**Job Title**: X-ray Technician (Female)

**Location**: UNITTAS Mulltispeciality Hospitals (OMR,Chennai)
**Department**: Radiology
**Reports To**: Radiologist / Medical Superintendent

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare patients for X-ray examinations and explain procedures clearly.
- Operate X-ray and other diagnostic imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Position patients correctly to capture the required diagnostic images.
- Ensure radiation safety measures are followed for patients, staff, and self.
- Maintain and calibrate radiology equipment regularly.
- Assist doctors and radiologists with imaging procedures as required.
- Keep accurate records of imaging tests and update reports in the system.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards.
- Manage and maintain consumables required for radiology procedures.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment in the radiology department.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Diploma / B.Sc. in Radiology & Imaging Technology (DRIT / B.Sc. Radiology).
- Valid certification and registration as per state regulations.
- Prior experience in hospital/diagnostic center preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protective equipment usage.
- Good patient-handling and communication skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergencies.

**Salary Range**:
₹[12,000 - 25,000] per month (based on experience and qualifications).
