Role Description

This is a full-time Steward position onsite at Taj Hotels in Varanasi. The Steward will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage services to guests while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. Daily tasks include setting up dining areas, assisting with food service preparation, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety guidelines, and providing courteous customer interactions. The role also involves ensuring prompt service, supporting training initiatives, and addressing guest requests professionally.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, with a commitment to delivering high-quality guest experiences.
  • Ability to support training for junior team members and maintain a collaborative work environment.
  • Experience in food service operations, including setting up dining areas and adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
  • A diploma or certification in hospitality, food service, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is advantageous.
