We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Operations.

In this role, you will:

  • User Administration of Fund Services (FS) in HSBC Markets & Securities Services Operations such as Markit EDM, HSBCnet, OHTP Tradeflow, Icon, B-One, HSBCNet, MIG 21, EMX, MIM,User administration of Custodian applications/platforms.
  • Point of contact for process related Metrics, Hiring, Team System access Etc And perform manual audit recertification for the none GIAM applications.
  • Understand the supported applications and ensure timely and accurate processing of User Entitlements within agreed PLAs and maintain MI trackers, support UAT, queries and respond to internal and external client and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Help build an open environment that encourages ownership of issues, prioritization of works, effective cross training and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure control measures/checkpoints are adhered to.  Procedural changes/new initiatives are fully implemented.
  • Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
  • Adherence to the SOPs and follow the recommendations of quality checks also deal with the applications of varied nature/complexities.Monitor the work basket and ensure all the daily allocations are completed within the SLA defined.
  • Any other non-daily operational matters and ad-hoc requests that maybe assigned due to Business Requirements.
  • Actively identify any system access related risk issues and work on to resolve them with key stakeholders.

To be successful, you will:

  • Strong basic PC skills and computer literate (E),IT Systems support experience highly desirable. (D)
  • Any knowledge or working experience in ICON, MIG21, OHTP Tradeflow, HSBCNet, Metastorm, FDP, B-One (D)
  • Experience in user administration tasks is highly desirable (D).General Investment Administration experience (D)
  • Strong working knowledge on MS Office especially in MS Excel macros. (D)
  • Ability to own assigned pieces of work and show a sense of proactiveness, responsibility and ownership
  • Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure for periods of time, individually and as part of a team (E) Ability to work to tight deadlines (E)
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel (E)
  • Ability to build excellent rapport and working relationship with other departments and jurisdiction thus ensuring smooth   operations(E)
  • Good Excel/Tableau skills required for publishing meaningful data related to process KPI/KRI, Heatmap, Trend Analysis of exceptions and STP numbers etc. (E)
