About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated fresh graduates to join our team as
Application Engineers
. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and work on
Cadence EDA tools
while supporting PCB and IC design projects. You will work closely with design engineers, library teams, and global customers to provide technical support, training, and solutions for design challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and gain proficiency in
    Cadence design tools
    (Allegro, OrCAD, Virtuoso, Sigrity, etc.).
  • Provide technical support for
    PCB library development, schematic symbols, and footprints
    .
  • Assist senior engineers in
    EDA tool setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
    .
  • Participate in
    design verification, validation, and rule-checking
    using Cadence tools.
  • Document processes, best practices, and knowledge-base articles for internal and customer use.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality design support.

Required Skills

  • Strong academic background in
    Electronics / Electrical / VLSI / Computer Engineering
    .
  • Basic knowledge of
    PCB design concepts, EDA tools, or circuit design
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Schematic symbols, footprints, and PCB fabrication basics
    is a plus.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills is a must
  • Willingness to
    learn Cadence tools and grow into a subject matter expert
    .

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.E./Diploma in Electronics, VLSI, or related fields.
  • Exposure to
    EDA tools (Cadence, Mentor, Altium, etc.)
    during academics or internship.
  • Knowledge of
    IPC standards
    for footprints and symbols is an advantage.
