About the Role
We are looking for a creative and data-driven Influencer Marketing Manager to lead and scale our influencer partnerships at upGrad School of Technology. This is a mid-senior level role for someone who can own strategy while driving execution with speed and precision. You will work closely with creators, agencies, and cross-functional teams to build impactful influencer-led campaigns that drive awareness, trust, and conversions for our programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning
- Design and execute influencer marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard influencers across YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
- Develop content themes, campaign calendars, and collaboration models aligned with brand objectives.
Campaign Execution
- Manage end-to-end influencer campaigns: outreach, negotiations, briefs, contracts, content approvals, and performance tracking.
- Ensure influencer content aligns with brand guidelines, messaging, and compliance requirements.
- Experiment with different campaign formats (long-form, reels, live sessions, testimonials, collaborations).
Partnerships & Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with top influencers, micro-creators, and agencies.
- Act as the primary liaison between influencers and internal teams.
- Manage influencer engagement budgets and optimize ROI.
Performance & Insights
- Define and track KPIs: reach, engagement, sentiment, lead contribution, and conversions.
- Use analytics tools to measure campaign impact and generate actionable insights.
- Continuously optimize influencer mix and content formats based on data.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide junior team members in influencer outreach and execution.
- Collaborate with brand, performance marketing, content, and PR teams to ensure integrated campaigns.
- Stay updated on influencer marketing trends, competitor activities, and platform innovations.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or digital marketing, preferably in consumer-facing or edtech brands.
- Proven track record of running successful influencer campaigns with measurable business impact.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with influencers and agencies.
- Creative eye for content and ability to brief influencers effectively.
- Analytical mindset with comfort in working with campaign metrics and data tools.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
