Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Developer with 5–7 years of expertise in designing, developing, customizing, and integrating ServiceNow ITOM solutions. The role involves working on Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB accuracy, and Event Management to optimize IT operations. This is a long-term contract role with opportunities for extension, offering a competitive budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow ITOM suite (Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, Event Management)
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow applications and services
  • Implement integrations between ServiceNow and third-party tools using MID Servers, APIs, and other integration methods
  • Maintain and optimize the CMDB for accuracy, relevance, and completeness
  • Analyze existing systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, network, application, and service management teams
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Follow best practices in code development, testing, and deployment

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of experience in ServiceNow ITOM development
  • Strong hands-on experience with ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP web services, JSON/XML, and ServiceNow scripting (client/server-side)
  • Experience with integrations using MID Servers
  • Understanding of ITSM processes in ITIL-based environments
  • Knowledge of networking, Linux/Windows servers, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • ServiceNow certifications (CIS – ITOM, CSA) preferred
  • Exposure to other ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, SecOps, or AIOps and Agile/Scrum methodologies
