As a Senior DevOps Engineer / Manager / Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automating workflows, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our client's systems across globe. Your role will vary depending on your expertise and level, whether youre executing technical tasks, leading a team, or architecting solutions.

1. DevOps Engineering & Automation:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment processes and improve delivery efficiency.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Implement and manage containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.

2. Infrastructure Design & Optimization:

  • Design, scale, and manage cloud-based infrastructure for high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Optimize infrastructure and deployment processes for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
  • Ensure systems and infrastructure meet security best practices, including compliance and governance standards.

3. Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, helping them grow their technical skills and understanding of DevOps best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, product, etc.) to align infrastructure requirements with application needs.
  • Manage day-to-day operations for your team, ensuring smooth, continuous delivery of projects.
  • As a Manager or Architect, you will also be responsible for driving architectural decisions, overseeing project execution, and ensuring that the team meets the organizational objectives.

4. Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

  • Identify opportunities for automation, cost optimization, and infrastructure improvement.
  • Stay up to date with emerging DevOps tools, practices, and cloud technologies, and implement them where applicable.
  • Actively contribute to the improvement of internal DevOps processes and the evolution of the teams skill sets.

5. Incident Management & Troubleshooting:

  • Respond to incidents, troubleshooting complex issues across the stack, from infrastructure to applications.
  • Ensure effective monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems are in place to proactively prevent issues and optimize system performance.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), as well as containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Experience with monitoring and log management tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, primarily Git.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, Ruby, or Go.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and networking concepts.
