Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

● 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.

● Expertise in Linux systems administration and command-line automation.

● Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and best practices for deployment automation.

● Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to streamline operational tasks.

● Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including networking, scaling, and security configurations.

● Mastery of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, including Terraform, CloudFormation, and Helm.

● Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

● Track record of troubleshooting and resolving production issues in business critical systems.

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across engineering and operations teams.

● Passion for innovation, automation, and continuous improvement in the SRE and DevOps space.

Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to join our globalservice management team, supporting FindLaw—the world's leading provider of online legal information

and internet marketing solutions tailored to consumers, small businesses, and law firms.

As a member of our Service Management team, you will take a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, high-performance systems. Your mission will be to drive site reliability, operational excellence, and automation to ensure seamless service delivery and platform availability.

You'll work closely with engineering, product, and security teams to develop fault-tolerant systems, improve monitoring and incident response strategies, and create automated solutions that enhance deployment efficiency. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic problem-solving, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

● Architect and refine our CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment workflows and system scalability (GitHub Actions, GitLab, AWS CodeBuild, Jenkins, Kubernetes).

● Develop and refine observability frameworks, ensuring comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting across all infrastructure components (Datadog, New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, AWS

CloudTrail).

● Automate infrastructure provisioning and management, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Helm.

● Drive incident response and root cause analysis, leading post-mortem reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

● Strengthen security and compliance protocols, implementing best practices for authentication, access controls, and vulnerability management.

● Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing expertise in DevOps, automation, and reliability engineering best practices.

● Research and evaluate emerging technologies, recommending solutions that enhance system resilience, scalability, and deployment speed.

● Participate in on-call rotations, ensuring swift issue resolution and proactive system management.
