Key Responsibilities1. Machine Setup & Operation

  • Set up VTL machines according to job requirements (tooling, fixtures, jaws, and programs).
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, job specifications, and process sheets.
  • Perform part machining operations such as facing, turning, boring, grooving, and threading.
  • Load programs and make necessary offsets or minor adjustments.

2. Production & Quality

  • Ensure components are produced within tolerance using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, etc.).
  • Conduct first-piece inspection and complete in-process quality checks.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the production cycle.

3. Tooling & Maintenance

  • Select, install, and replace cutting tools and inserts as needed.
  • Monitor tool wear and take corrective actions.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain records of production output, inspection reports, tool usage, and machine parameters.
  • Report deviations, machine abnormalities, or quality concerns to supervisors.

5. Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all safety protocols and use PPE as required.
  • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the machine and work area.
  • Comply with organizational policies and ISO / quality management systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹45,000.00 per month
