**Position**: CNC VTL Setter Cum Operator
**Department**: Manufacturing / Production
**Reports to**: Production Manager / Supervisor

**Job Overview**:
The CNC VTL (Vertical Turret Lathe) Setter Cum Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC Vertical Turret Lathes (VTL) to manufacture precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications. The role requires proficiency in machine setup, tool selection, machine operation, and basic troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Machine Setup**:

- Set up CNC VTL machines with the appropriate tooling, fixtures, and programs to meet production requirements.
- Perform pre-production checks, including verifying machine calibration, tool alignment, and ensuring proper fixture setup.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring that workpieces are properly secured for machining.
- **CNC Machine Operation**:

- Operate CNC VTL machines to produce high-quality, precise components.
- Monitor the machining process to ensure consistency and quality, making adjustments as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing.
- **Quality Control**:

- Perform routine inspections of finished parts using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
- Ensure parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Report and document any non-conformance or issues related to product quality.
- **Maintenance & Troubleshooting**:

- Perform basic troubleshooting of machine malfunctions and mechanical issues.
- Ensure proper maintenance of CNC VTL machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and changing tools when necessary.
- Report any major mechanical issues to the maintenance team and assist in machine repairs.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of machine settings, part production, and any modifications made during the machining process.
- Ensure all production documentation, including work orders and quality reports, is completed accurately and on time.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company health and safety regulations.
- Ensure proper handling of materials and tools to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Comply with environmental and regulatory standards as per company policies.

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
