About you and the role:
As a Senior EH&S Delivery Specialist based in Taloja leads hub or site EH&S compliance and implementation of the safety management system in one of multiple fields including, for example, health and safety (H&S), environmental, air, water and industrial hygiene. Maintains the license to operate for the site or hub. Requires expanded conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and broadens capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage EH&S regulatory compliance at Taloja site. Coordinate with various regulatory departments. Manage all permits and ensure license to operate are in place and all permit conditions are well implemented. This role ensures that all regulatory requirements are met and maintained. Ensure al internal and external reporting requirements are managed.
- Ensuring all Dow EHS standards and work processes are well implemented in various fields like health and safety (H&S), environmental, occupational health, industrial hygiene, emergency services and security. This role requires strong leadership skills to maintain a high standard of safety and compliance. Ensure site performance and opportunities are well communicated and escalated to site leadership, geography and business.
- Drive EH&S performance improvement for Taloja site. Coordinate, implement, and optimize EH&S programs and compliance programs across the site. This involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Participate in incident investigations and the corrective action process for EH&S issues and opportunities. Ensure good corrective and prevention action program is implemented.
- Initiate and support the management of change (MOC) for EH&S programs and compliance matters, as necessary.
- Coach, train, and mentor EH&S technicians and other employees and contractors on site. Perform site or plant gap assessments around EH&S work process implementation and deliver training as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, with 10-15 years of experience.
- Diploma in safety is an advantage.
