Any specific qualifications are not mandatory, focus will be on skills, understanding of the requirements, storytelling, experience, and a strong portfolio. A link to a portfolio showcasing relevant video editing work (software/product marketing preferred).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Edit short marketing videos for Seedicon's product, showcasing product features.
  • Create tailored videos for three user categories: Founders, Investors, and Professionals, aligning with brand messaging and user-specific benefits.
  • Incorporate visuals, animations, text overlays, and sound effects to produce polished, professional videos that align with Seedicon's brand identity.
  • Collaborate remotely with the marketing and design teams to understand project goals, brand guidelines, and user journey requirements.
  • Ensure videos are optimized for web use (e.g., correct resolution, file size, and format for fast loading for YouTube, Twitter, etc)
  • Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality edits based on feedback.
  • Suggest creative ideas to enhance video storytelling and engagement for software/product marketing.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing software, SaaS, or product marketing videos.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects) to create engaging visuals.
  • Understanding of marketing principles, particularly for tech or software platforms, to craft compelling narratives.
  • Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively via tools like Google meet, email.
  • Familiarity with optimizing videos for web platforms (e.g., MP4 format, compression techniques).
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines (e.g., fonts, colors, styles).
  • Ability to incorporate feedback and deliver revisions promptly.
  • Knowledge of startup ecosystems or tech industries is a plus.

DELIVERABLES

:

  • Short videos seconds, 2-3 mins each) tailored to Founders, Investors, and Professionals.
  • Videos formatted for web embedding on Seedicon's platform.
  • Source files and project backups upon completion.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR FREELANCERS:

The freelancer will sign a contract outlining project scope, deliverables, timelines, and confidentiality obligations to protect Seedicon's proprietary information. All work produced remains the intellectual property of Seedicon, and the freelancer agrees to transfer all rights upon project completion.
