Job Role: Draftsman - Interior Design

Location: Mumbai, Pune

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Draftsman to support our design and execution teams in creating accurate 2D and 3D drawings for modular kitchens, wardrobes, and interior spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modular systems, design principles, and on-site measurements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed 2D layout drawings and 3D visualizations of modular kitchens and interior spaces using AutoCAD and other design tools.
  • Interpret and convert conceptual designs and briefs into working drawings.
  • Prepare accurate BOQs, cut lists, and technical documents.
  • Coordinate with designers, project managers, and installation teams to ensure execution aligns with design intent.
  • Revise drawings based on feedback or site conditions.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, safety, and material specifications.
  • Conduct and incorporate site measurements when necessary.
  • Maintain organized records and drawing repositories

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  • 24 years of experience as a Draftsman in modular interiors/kitchen industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or similar software.
  • Knowledge of modular hardware systems (Hettich, Blum, Hafele).
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and site conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in modular kitchen industry.
  • Basic understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) considerations in kitchen/wardrobe layouts.
