Associate - Medical Record Review (India)

Elevate is recruiting for Associate - Medical Record Review in our Med Legal. The Associate Medical Record Review will provide documentation coverage for a set of healthcare providers, which involves medical record in form of PDF/txt format of patient clinic visits and leveraging technology to summarize medical facts in professional clinical reports (History of Present Illness, Physical Exam, Diagnosis, Assessment & Plan).

Specifically, the Associate - Medical Record Review will

• Achieve proficiency in navigating EHRs and enter clinical reports and data into word doc, adhering to specific guidelines as per client requirements.
• Maintain a high-quality standard and adhere to account-specific documentation which delineates documentation requirements for our clients.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on feedback and successfully resolve issues.
• Participate in live video chat and screen sharing sessions for training.
• Work independently in a secure and private location with a reliable high-speed internet connection.

Skills for Success

• Experience required in a medical office, clinical or healthcare documentation or similar academic setting.
• Good understanding of medical terminology & medical summarization.
• Excellent English professional writing skills; including advanced proficiency in grammar and spelling.
• Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word).

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant medical summarization experience in the Health Care Industry 1 year of experience in medical billing will be an added advantage.
• Experience as a medical scribe/medical transcriptionist or medical summarization role.
• Microsoft Word PowerPoint Excel Outlook Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• Any Graduate in related field -BPT/BAMS/BHMS/BDS/B. Pharma/BSc/ MSc. /Life sciences.
