We are looking for someone with:

Ideally (but not restrictive) you should have:

  1. Hands on experience (5+) years using Scala and/or Java
  2. Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery
  3. Knowledge of microservice architecture
  4. Working experience with TDD & BDD
  5. Experience building REST API's
  6. Experience working with Docker
  7. General knowledge of agile software development concepts and processes
  8. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  9. Working experience with Jira, Confluence

Nice to haves:

  1. Special interest in functional programming
  2. Knowledge of reactive manifesto
  3. Knowledge of streaming data
  4. Experience with Akka, Play Framework or Spring
  5. Experience working with Kafka
  6. Knowledge of NoSQL
  7. Cloud based development with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud etc.
  8. Commercial exposure with ELK stack
