We are seeking an experienced Scala/Akka Microservices Developer to join our team in building robust, scalable, and high-performance distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Scala programming, Akka framework (including Akka Streams), and microservices design principles. You will be working on event-driven architectures, implementing efficient communication patterns using gRPC/Protocol Buffers, and deploying cloud-native solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

A deep understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices is essential. The role also requires proficiency in DevOps tools such as GitLab, Terraform, and Ansible, as well as scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation. Experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and log aggregation/search tools is critical to building and maintaining reliable backend systems.

Familiarity with Apache Pulsar, Lagom framework, and financial industry integration patterns is considered a strong advantage. Candidates should be analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced Agile environments. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams are key to success in this role.
