Java/Oracle Support Engineer

Brainsquare is looking for a Java/Oracle Support Engineer to join our international support team working on critical enterprise applications. You will ensure the stability and performance of key business systems by troubleshooting issues, supporting users, and collaborating closely with development and infrastructure teams.
This is a full-time position within Brainsquare India (Mumbai region), with rotational shifts and on-call responsibilities. You will become part of a high-impact environment where your insights and solutions contribute directly to the operational continuity of complex platforms.
Your main tasks-
Provide application support for Java-based systems and Oracle PL/SQL components in production and pre-production environments

Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes

Collaborate with developers and IT infrastructure teams to resolve issues and improve system reliability

Analyze and maintain PL/SQL business logic within Oracle databases

Identify and propose automation or improvement opportunities to reduce repetitive incidents

Maintain clear documentation of incidents, fixes, and workarounds

Participate in on-call rotation and be available to intervene remotely as needed
