Key Responsibilities:

Functional & Automation Testing

  • Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts for trading workflows using tools like Selenium/Appium.
  • Validate order execution, market data feeds, algo deployment, and charting tools.

Performance & Load Testing

  • Conduct performance testing for high-volume market scenarios using JMeter (or similar).
  • Monitor and analyze latency, throughput, and stability in real-time trading environments.

Test Planning & Execution

  • Analyze functional requirements and translate them into detailed test cases.
  • Cover all stages of testing – Sanity, Functional, Integration, Regression, and UAT.
  • Manage Defect Reporting & Tracking using Jira or equivalent.

Trading Platform-Specific QA

  • Test across Equity, F&O, and Algo Trading workflows ensuring compliance with SEBI norms.
  • Validate broker and API integrations (order placement, cancellation, modification, algo execution).

Process & Collaboration

  • Work in Agile/Scrum environments with developers and product managers.
  • Share knowledge and mentor team members on QA best practices.
  • Manage multiple priorities in time-sensitive market release cycles.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts for trading workflows using tools like Selenium/Appium.
  • Validate order execution, market data feeds, algo deployment, and charting tools.
