Job Description:

Key Responsibilities Platform Customization:

  • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules and applications to align with specific business and IT process requirements.
  • Development & Scripting:
    Write, test, and deploy clean, efficient code, primarily using JavaScript and Glide API, to extend platform functionality.
  • Workflow & Automation:
    Design and develop automated solutions and custom workflows to streamline business processes.
  • Integration:
    Integrate ServiceNow with other third-party systems and applications using web services.
  • Data Management:
    Configure and manage data within ServiceNow tables, fields, and relationships to ensure data integrity.
  • Problem-Solving & Debugging:
    Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and bugs within the platform.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Documentation:
    Create and maintain technical documentation for code, applications, and processes.
  • Testing:
    Produce and execute test cases, including regression testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure software quality.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Platform Expertise:
    In-depth knowledge of core ServiceNow modules (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change Management, Service Catalog) and platform administration.
  • Programming Skills:
    Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and familiarity with the Glide API.
  • Web Technologies:
    Knowledge of web services and web application development.
  • Database Knowledge:
    Understanding of SQL for data management.
  • ITIL Understanding:
    Familiarity with ITIL processes and their implementation within ServiceNow.
  • Analytical Skills:
    Ability to analyze business needs, identify inefficiencies, and provide effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills:
    Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
