We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for providing support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with financial reporting. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Daily Cash & Bank Management (Treasury)

  • Manage and reconcile the Petty Cash fund, ensuring all disbursements are properly documented, authorized, and tallied daily/weekly.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations for various accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Process all outgoing payments (e.g., NEFT, RTGS, cheques) and ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.

Accounts Payable & Procurement Support

  • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) based on approved requisitions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Verify vendor invoices, reconcile them against POs and Goods Received Notes (GRN), and process for payment.

Payroll Processing & Employee Expenses

  • Assist with the end-to-end monthly payroll process including data verification, calculation of wages, deductions, and statutory compliance (e.g., TDS, PF, ESI, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to petty cash handling and bank reconciliation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹18,000.00 per month
