About the Role

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications. As part of our QA team, you will work closely with software developers and engineers to design, build, and execute automated test cases while maintaining a robust regression test suite for new and existing features.

This role requires strong collaboration, clear communication, and a proactive approach to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts, frameworks, and tools using Java, TestNG, and Appium.
  • Perform automated test execution for iOS and Android applications, including regression and end-to-end testing.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify, document, and track defects while ensuring optimal test coverage.
  • Advocate best practices in Automated Testing, CI/CD methodologies, and test framework design.
  • Conduct API automation testing using REST Assured or similar frameworks.
  • Work with Selenium WebDriver, XCUITest, and cross-platform testing tools like BrowserStack.
  • Integrate testing with Git, Jenkins, Maven, and Bitbucket within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Utilize SQL and developer tools (Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA) for test validation and debugging.

Must-Have Skills

  • Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, BDD-Cucumber, and Java/C#.
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, scripting, and debugging.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle management.
  • Hands-on experience in unit testing frameworks and hybrid testing approaches.
  • Strong technical skills in Java Selenium concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with high technical IQ and leadership traits like transparency, empathy, and ownership.
