Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer with a strong background in automating the testing of SaaS products. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our SaaS offerings. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to build and maintain a robust test automation framework that supports continuous integration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing of SaaS applications. Utilize tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar to create and execute test cases.
• Test Framework Management: Develop and maintain the test automation framework, ensuring it is scalable, efficient, and easy to use. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing.
• Test Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the QA and development teams to understand the product requirements and create comprehensive test plans. Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and report defects.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of the product by automating end-to-end testing, including UI, API, and database layers. Validate that the product meets functional, performance, and security requirements.
• Bug Tracking & Reporting: Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as Jira. Work with the development team to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and ensure that defects are resolved.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and DevOps, to ensure seamless integration of test automation within the software development lifecycle. Provide regular updates on test progress and quality metrics.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement in testing and automation. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in test automation and implement new tools and techniques as needed.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for test automation processes, test cases, and test results. Ensure that test documentation is clear, concise, and accessible to all team members.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on SaaS products. Proven experience in automating functional, regression, and performance tests.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in one or more test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and test case development.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex automation scripts.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and clearly communicate testing progress and issues.
• Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail, ensuring thorough coverage of test cases and accuracy in test execution.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with testing SaaS products in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600, ₹1,200,000.00 per year
