Overall responsibility & accountability for the manufacturing and production function across the factory include people and budgetary management.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objective and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery target which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market.
  • Lead, develop & implement variable cost productivity programmes across all areas of responsibility
  • Provide leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions.
  • Complete regular performance reviews, manage attendance, holidays, disciplinary issues and procedures as appropriate
  • Prepare the annual manufacturing budget and forecasts and all capital expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards. manage the budget from identification to completion of projects.
  • Review environmental strategies that impact on future ways of operating and ensure implementation where possible.
  • Support, comply & ensure complicity with EHS regulations, the company handbook, Quality & Environmental standards and all other company policies and procedures.

  • Inspire and motivate the team.

  • DME/B.Tech(mech) with 15-20 years of experience in any process industry.

  • Should have good managing skills required for motivating the Subordinates & Workmen for achieving the production targets.
  • Responsible for the Stores inventory Inventory & fuel consumption.
  • Responsible for implementation of 5S & TPM.
  • First preference is given to the building material industry industry experience person.
