Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Die Fitter / Die Maker with extensive experience in sheet metal progressive tools. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in tool assembly, fitting, maintenance, and operations, along with proficiency in Grinding and Milling machines.

Key Responsibilities:

● Assemble, fit, repair, and maintain sheet metal progressive dies.

● Perform precise fitting work using tools such as grinders, milling machines, files, and measuring instruments.

● Carry out die maintenance, sharpening, and troubleshooting during production.

● Read and interpret engineering drawings, die components, and tool designs.

● Conduct trial runs and ensure die performance meets production standards.

● Work closely with the production and toolroom team for timely tool readiness.

● Ensure proper documentation, tool history maintenance, and quality control.

Maintain safety, cleanliness, and discipline in the toolroom.

Required Skills & Experience:

● Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Die Fitter / Maker.

● Mandatory experience in sheet metal progressive tools.

● Strong hands-on experience in Grinding and Milling operations.

● Proficiency in handling precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).

● Ability to understand engineering drawings and tool designs.

● ITI or Diploma in Tool & Die / Mechanical or relevant field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
