Role Overview -
The Accounts Executive – Payable / Taxation Executive is responsible for managing day-today accounts payable activities, ensuring compliance with statutory taxation requirements, and supporting the finance team with accurate reporting. The role focuses on maintaining timely vendor payments, GST/TDS compliance, and assisting in audits while ensuring adherence to company policies and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities -
- Process vendor invoices, employee claims, and payments within defined timelines.
- Ensure accurate deduction and timely deposit of GST, TDS, and other statutory payments.
- Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns and TDS returns.
- Maintain vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactively.
- Assist in statutory and internal audits with proper documentation.
- Support monthly closing activities by providing accounts payable and taxation data.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.
- Coordinate with vendors, auditors, and internal teams for financial queries and requirements.
