Equity Administrator

Blend is looking for a self-motivated Equity Administrator to join our equity team. As Blends Stock Administrator, you are passionate about all things equity, thrive in a fast-paced high-growth environment focused on delivering exceptional service to employees, Board of Directors, and investors, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and enjoy building out processes and controls at scale.
Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day administration of our equity compensation plans, including equity grant uploads, termination uploads, option exercises, RSU releases, employee demographic updates
Provide excellent customer service to all equity plan participants, including employees, former employees, Board of Directors, and investors
Partner with Payroll team to ensure that timely and accurate tax withholding and remittance on RSU releases and stock option exercises,
Collaborate with company broker, accounting, HR, legal as well as internal and external auditors with all things related to equity
Generate and review for accuracy recurring and ad-hoc reports for Finance, Payroll, HR, and Legal
Assist in the end-to-end grant process, including coordination with HR to prepare equity grants for approval
Maintain and update process and procedures documents for all equity administration processes
Provide recommendations for process improvements to support day-to-day operations, including partnering with cross-functional teams on key system integrations (i.e., HRIS, Payroll/Tax, ERP)
Reconcile the Company's equity award activity against the equity platform on a monthly basis Contribute to team initiatives and projects to continuously evolve and optimize our equity program Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a stock administrator for a U.S. public company
Certified Equity Professional (CEP) level 1 a plus
Experience with Schwab EquiView, or similar equity administration software Excellent Excel and GSuite skills
Detail-oriented with an interest in building, improving, and streamlining processes
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience with Section 16 reports, 10b5-1 plans, and proxy statements
Familiarity with legal, tax, and compliance concepts relevant to equity
Strong work ethic and ability to be productive and successful in a fast-paced work environment
Impeccable judgment, discretion, and integrity
