Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to lead our financial department in a manufacturing company. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, finance, and managerial experience, and be well versed with Busy accounting software. The Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and managing a team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of the manufacturing company, including budgeting, financial planning, and financial reporting.

2. Track Accounts Receivables: Monitor and manage accounts receivable, including sending invoices, following up on outstanding payments, and reconciling accounts.

3. Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices, verify accuracy, and coordinate payments.

4. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure that transactions are accurately recorded in the system.

5. Expense Tracking: Maintain records of company expenses and verify receipts for reimbursement.

6. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and working capital to maintain liquidity and meet financial obligations.

7. Purchase Management & Tracking: Maintain and oversee approved vendors database and purchase data entries. Ensure purchase as per PO and handle unauthorized price changes.

8. MIS / Financial Reporting / Stock Reporting: Generate financial reports and statements using Busy software to provide management with accurate financial information.

9. Payroll Processing : Assist HR manager in payroll processing (bank transfers), and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

10. Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential cost-saving opportunities.

11. GST Compliance: Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements to ensure compliance.

12. Financial Audits: Coordinate and support external audits, as well as conduct internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

13. Credit Management: Oversee the credit and collections process, assess credit risks, and manage relationships with financial institutions.

14. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of accountants and financial professionals to ensure efficient and accurate accounting processes.

15. Any other work assigned by Management time to time.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is advantageous.

· Proven experience in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

· Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

· Proficiency in ERP software and other financial management tools.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

· Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.

Additional Information:

· This position may require occasional overtime, especially during financial reporting periods or audits.

· Knowledge of GST tax regulations and experience with tax preparation is a plus.

Timings: 9:00 am to 6:30 pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
