Role & responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE), ETP, and STP units.
  • Ensure proper treatment of effluent as per statutory norms.
  • Perform daily operation, log sheet maintenance, and record plant parameters.
  • Handle pumps, blowers, agitators, and evaporator systems efficiently.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of MEE and related equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain chemical dosing and monitor treatment efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with pollution control board norms and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with engineers and supervisors for smooth plant operations.
  • Support in training junior operators/technicians when required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical discipline.
  • 36 years of experience in ETP/STP operations with MEE handling.
  • Strong technical knowledge of evaporators, pumps, blowers, pipelines, and valves.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
  • Familiarity with statutory norms and environmental compliance.
  • Physically fit and willing to work in shifts/site locations.
  • Safety-conscious and responsible in handling effluent processes.
