Safety Officer - Manufacturing Sector

Location: Jigani, Electronics City, Makali & Harohalli, Bangalore

Qualification: Post Diploma in Industrial Safety from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Safety or Govt. Polytechnic

Key Responsibilities:

-Maintain EHS documentation and ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 standards.

-Conduct daily Gemba walks (SOT) and prepare detailed safety reports.

-Lead 5S audits and drive workplace safety improvements.

-Perform HIRA, JSA, and ergonomic assessments to mitigate operational risks.

-Manage legal compliances including Fire NOC, Hazardous Waste, CFO, CFE & PESO licensing.

-Conduct mock drills, toolbox talks, safety inductions, and emergency response training.

-Ensure inspection and maintenance of firefighting systems, LOTO procedures, and first aid readiness.

-Investigate and report incidents, implement corrective and preventive actions.

-Oversee STP/ETP processes and ensure adherence to PCB norms.

Ideal Candidate:

-3 - 7 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing safety.

-Sound knowledge of EHS management systems, audits, and statutory compliance.

-Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
