Inviting applications for the role of of Management Trainee and Assistant Manager- US Sales and Use Tax compliance.
Lead the Accounting and Financial reporting team out of Genpact. - Ensure timeliness and Accuracy of all deliverables - Provide guidance to team for correct accounting treatment - will be working as escalation point if needed
Responsibilities
The person will be responsible for day to day and accounting and month end close journals Review 
and coordination

• Review and Validate Inputs for journals processing

• Balance sheet reconciliations Review and clearing of open items

• Identify process improvement and standardization of process

• Month end Financial Reporting Preparation and Review

• Investigate and research open items and follow up/escalate with different teams for resolution of 
open items

• Adherence to the internal/external US GAAP/SOX audits

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications

•    Graduate Degree in Finance (M.COM etc) with ICWA or CPA, OR Qualified Chartered Accountant.

•    Financial Reporting and General ledger accounting, Month end closing (Wire-outs, ACH, checks, receipts, bank transfers, Inter-company, Fixed Assets, journals, Bank Reconciliation, etc).

•    Knowledge of trend analysis for both P&L and BS.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Accounting graduates with relevant experience, CA/CMA preferred.

• Working experience with ERPs, specifically SAP would be preferred

• Experience in reconciliations tool eg Blackline would be added advantage

• Prior experience with Retail Clients with same size would be preferred
