Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in Asset Accounting (FI-AA) to manage and optimize the end-to-end asset lifecycle in SAP. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting fixed asset processes in compliance with statutory and corporate reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and support Asset Accounting (FI-AA) processes including acquisition, capitalization, depreciation calculation, transfer, retirement, and revaluation.
  • Implement New Asset Accounting in SAP S/4HANA with multiple ledgers and depreciation areas.
  • Ensure smooth integration of FI-AA with other SAP modules such as MM, PM, and CO.
  • Manage month-end and year-end activities related to fixed assets, including reconciliations and reporting.
  • Provide expertise in statutory compliance (IFRS, GAAP, and local reporting).
  • Partner with finance and audit teams to support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to asset transactions and reporting.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of relevant SAP FICO experience with focus on Asset Accounting.
  • Strong understanding of depreciation keys, valuation areas, and parallel accounting.
  • Hands-on experience with New Asset Accounting in S/4HANA preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial compliance, reporting, and integration with MM/CO/PM.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
