Job Title: Manager - Process Technology (Machine Shop)

Location: Maraimalai Nagar, Chennai.

Salary: 12 LPA

Working Days/Shift: 5 days, General shift

Experience: 7-15 years in machining and assembly

Role & responsibilities

  1. Lead machining and assembly operations.

  2. Develop and implement process improvements.

  3. CNC programming and optimization.

  4. Documentation: Process Flow, Control Plan, PFMEA.

  5. NPD (New Product Development) through APQP and PPAP.

  6. OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) improvement.

  7. Cost savings through localization and cycle time reduction.

  8. Review engineering drawings for completeness and accuracy.

  9. Scrap reduction: root cause analysis and corrective action.

Requirements:

  1. 10+ years machining experience.

  2. 5+ years NPD experience.

  3. CNC programming expertise.

  4. Cutting tool knowledge.

  5. AutoCAD skills.

  6. MS Office proficiency.

  7. Strong presentation and team management skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. Six Sigma certification.

  2. Lean manufacturing expertise.

  3. Experience with industry-specific software.
