Key Responsibilities

  • Research topics and verify facts to ensure accuracy and credibility of content.
  • Collaborate with newsroom teams, including editors, producers, and graphic designers, to produce high-quality segments.
  • Adapt content style and tone for different platforms (e.g., web, social media, television).
  • Maintain awareness of current news events, trends, and audience interests.
  • Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in news writing and on-camera presentation.
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong on-camera presence with clear articulation and confident delivery.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
  • Familiarity with newsroom software and digital publishing tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of current affairs and news trends.
