Job Purpose:

To manage, supervise, and coordinate civil engineering works at construction sites, ensuring timely execution of projects with quality, safety, and cost efficiency as per company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Site Supervision & Execution

  2. Oversee day-to-day site activities and ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and standards.

  3. Monitor contractor and labor activities to maintain productivity and quality.

  4. Ensure material availability and manage site resources effectively.

  5. Quality & Safety

  6. Ensure adherence to safety standards and site safety protocols.

  7. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks for all civil works.

  8. Report and rectify non-conformities at the site.

  9. Planning & Coordination

  10. Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and the internal project team.

  11. Assist in preparing work schedules and monitor progress against the plan.

  12. Support project manager in preparing daily/weekly progress reports.

  13. Documentation & Reporting

  14. Maintain daily site diary and work records.

  15. Verify measurements, prepare bills, and assist in quantity surveying.
  16. Ensure proper documentation of drawings, checklists, and approvals.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards, drawings, and construction practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Problem-solving ability with focus on quality and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and statutory compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • 2–15 years of relevant site execution experience (freshers may also be considered for junior roles).
  • Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects preferred.
