Job Purpose:

To operate and maintain autoclave equipment used in the sterilization of components, garments, and materials in the LVP manufacturing area, ensuring compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate steam sterilizers (other autoclaves) for sterilizing LVP components such as rubber stoppers, seals, garments, and filtration assemblies.
  • Prepare validated load patterns for autoclaving and ensure proper documentation.
  • Monitor sterilization parameters (temperature, pressure, time) and record cycle data.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of autoclave area, dynamic pass boxes, drain points, and LAF units.
  • Maintain BMRs, logbooks, and equipment usage records as per cGMP.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and coordinate with engineering for calibration and validation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, and other departments for smooth operations.
  • Participate in SOP training and on-the-job training sessions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum: Diploma in Mechanical or B.E Mechanical

  • Preferred: Experience in sterile manufacturing or pharmaceutical production.

  • Knowledge of autoclave operations, sterilization principles, and cGMP guidelines.

Skills Required:

  • Technical understanding of autoclave machinery and sterilization cycles.
  • Ability to read and interpret SOPs and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Physical stamina to handle equipment and work in sterile environments.
