Job Title: Telecom Sales Manager - Field (Tata Sales)

Experience: 5-7 Years

Job Overview:

We are looking for a results-driven Telecom Sales Manager to join our team at Tata, focusing on both connectivity and non-connectivity product portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with in-depth knowledge of telecom products and solutions. This role requires a strategic, customer-centric approach to identify and capitalize on business opportunities in the telecom space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in both connectivity and non-connectivity portfolios.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met through tailored solutions.
  • Focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets for Internet Leased Line, Leased Line, PRI/BRI, SIP Trunk, MPLS, SD WAN, TFN, Broadband, and other products under the connectivity portfolio.
  • Engage clients in understanding their business challenges and provide customized solutions in the non-connectivity product range, including 0365 & M365, Google Workspace Suite, Email Security, and more.
  • Product Knowledge & Expertise:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products in the connectivity and non-connectivity portfolios to provide expert-level guidance to customers.
  • Educate clients on the benefits and features of products like MPLS, SD WAN, SIP Trunk, and others, positioning Tata as a leader in telecom solutions.
  • Client Acquisition & Retention:
  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities within designated territories.
  • Drive business growth by expanding the client base and increasing market penetration.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to retain clients and identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities across the portfolio.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, technical support, and account management, to ensure seamless customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasting, and performance analysis to senior management.
  • Market Insights & Competitor Analysis:
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, market changes, and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the telecom market.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in telecom sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of telecom products, especially in both connectivity (Internet Leased Line, PRI/BRI, MPLS, SD WAN, etc.) and non-connectivity offerings (0365 & M365, Google Workspace, Email Security, etc.).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical solutions in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to address customer challenges.
  • Negotiation Skills: Experience in high-level negotiations and closing deals.
  • Client Focus: Ability to build and sustain strong, long-term client relationships.
