Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic HR Specialist to join our Corporate HR team, managing a wide range of responsibilities across the entire employee lifecycle. This role is not limited to talent acquisition but also includes background verification, onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, & coordination with the Training & Development team.

The HR Specialist will support multiple properties under the group, ensuring that HR processes are consistent, people-focused, and aligned with organizational goals. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a progressive hospitality group, contribute to a people-first culture, and directly impact employee experience at a corporate level.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process: manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, referrals, and campus hiring.
  • Act as a strategic partner to department heads for workforce planning.
  • Ensure smooth hiring process with timely updates to candidates and stakeholders.

Background Checks

  • Conduct thorough reference checks, document verification, employment history, and education checks.
  • Ensure all compliance requirements are met before onboarding new hires.

Onboarding

  • Oversee pre-joining engagement and offer formalities.
  • Facilitate induction programs & familiarize employees with company culture, HR policies, systems, and processes. Ensure a positive Day 1 experience for new hires.

Offboarding

  • Manage exit formalities including clearance documentation, knowledge transfer, and coordination with payroll/accounts for settlements.
  • Conduct exit interviews to capture insights for improving retention.
  • Ensure smooth and professional exit experience.

Employee Engagement

  • Organize employee engagement activities (team-building programs, recognition events, long-service awards, cultural/festival celebrations, surveys).
  • Partner with leadership to foster a positive workplace culture.

Training & Development Coordination

  • Work closely with the Training & Development team to identify learning needs.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions for corporate and property-level employees.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3-4 years of proven experience as an HR professional, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, HRMS, and recruitment tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in high-volume or multi-property hospitality hiring.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with social recruiting and employer branding.
  • Strong coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Awareness of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
