About The Role
We are seeking a talented
Data Engineer
to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale data platforms. The role requires strong expertise in
Databricks, PySpark, ETL pipelines, GCP services, Unity Catalog, and Terraform
. The ideal candidate will collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.
  • Implement and manage data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, etc.).
  • Support data cataloging and governance initiatives using Unity Catalog.
  • Ensure data quality, performance, and security across data workflows.
  • Collaborate with senior architects to align with enterprise data architecture standards.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment and pipeline management using Terraform and CI/CD practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for cost and performance efficiency.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • 3–6 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, PySpark, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, etc.).
  • Experience with Unity Catalog for data governance and cataloging.
  • Hands-on with Terraform (IaC) for automation and infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data transformation techniques.
  • Understanding of data architecture principles and cloud-native solutions.
  • Ability to work in Agile teams and collaborate across functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in GCP Data Engineer or Databricks.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
