Role Summary

The Demand Planning Lead is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts and ensuring seamless visibility between Sales, Operations, and Global Supply Chain teams. The role supports India's position as a global export hub by aligning demand signals from domestic and international markets with production and material readiness.

Location: Thane, India

Reports To: Head Sales Operations Leader (Direct) and Channel Business Leader (Dotted)

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate forecasts for India into a unified demand plan.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Projects, and Engineering to capture pipeline visibility and ensure forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Solutions, Product and Engineering for ETO release and Sales Order Creation
  • Lead mega project reviews with key stakeholders
  • Translate project-level demand into executable plans for production and procurement.
  • Maintain accurate data in ERP/planning systems
  • Track key metrics forecast accuracy, bias, adherence, and demand visibility.
  • Partner with Procurement and Operations to ensure material and capacity alignment.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support automation in planning processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Management; MBA preferred.
  • 8–10 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or SIOP within manufacturing or OEM setups.
  • Experience in export-oriented or global supply chain environments.
  • Strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP/planning systems and Power BI;
