Role Overview:  

The Business Intelligence Manager will be responsible for leading the development, maintenance, and delivery of reporting and analytics processes that provide actionable insights into business and product performance. The role involves mentoring analysts, improving BI processes, and driving data-informed decision-making across global teams.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Lead the development and enhancement of reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics.

  • Oversee and mentor analysts to ensure accurate and timely delivery of reporting outputs.

  • Partner with stakeholders to align BI initiatives with business objectives.

  • Support the migration from ETL to ELT frameworks by designing and deploying SQL-based transformation logic.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation in reporting.

  • Develop a deep understanding of data sources and ensure coherent data integration across reports.

  • Promote data literacy and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Required Skills:  

Must-Have:

  • 12+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related domains.

  • Strong expertise in SQL (designing and deploying SQL views for ELT frameworks).

  • Proficiency with Tableau (preferred) or other BI tools such as Power BI.

  • Experience working with large datasets, data visualization, and performance metrics.

  • Strong experience with cloud databases (Redshift/AWS preferred).

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or equivalent analytical tools.

  • Proven experience leading and mentoring BI or data analytics teams.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Good-to-Have:

  • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and automation.

  • Experience with data pipeline/workflow tools (e.g., Alteryx, dbt, Airflow).

  • Familiarity with the education sector or similar data environments.

  • Active participation in BI or analytics communities.

Eligibility / Qualifications:  

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience: 12+ years relevant BI/analytics experience.
