Full Stack Developer (2–3 Years Experience)

Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate Full Stack Developer with 2–3 years of experience in building dynamic web applications using and Django.

You'll work closely with senior engineers to develop scalable, user-friendly, and high-performing applications that power STEM Learning's digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front-End Development
  • Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using , HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Integrate front-end components with Django REST APIs.
  • Ensure smooth performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional interfaces.
  • Back-End Development
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Python (Django / Django REST Framework).
  • Design and manage databases with PostgreSQL.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling practices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Collaboration & Version Control
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers in an Agile environment.
  • Use Git/GitHub for version control, pull requests, and code reviews.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and peer reviews.
  • Deployment & Cloud (Exposure Level)
  • Assist in deploying applications to AWS or Vercel under senior guidance.
  • Gain exposure to Docker and CI/CD workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
  • Technical Proficiency
  • Front-End: , HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Back-End: Python, Django, Django REST Framework
  • Database: PostgreSQL
  • Version Control: Git, GitHub
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API architecture and MVC design patterns.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to AWS (EC2, S3), Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Awareness of web security and performance optimization.
  • Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.
