Senior Java Backend Developer

Location: Pune (Onsite | Hybrid options may be discussed post-selection)

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust services, ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Work with Kafka for distributed messaging and data streaming.
  • Implement efficient multithreading and concurrency solutions.
  • Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and other testing frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS or Azure cloud environments.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to team best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Java 8+ expertise with strong OOP concepts
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Microservices architecture
  • Experience with Kafka for event-driven architecture
  • Strong in Multithreading and Concurrency handling
  • Familiarity with JUnit and test-driven development
  • Experience with AWS or Azure (either is acceptable)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in Agile development environments
  • Exposure to CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and monitoring tools is a plus

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time opportunity with weekend interviews scheduled on 27th & 28th September.
  • Candidates must be based in Pune or willing to relocate.
