About the Role

Lead and optimize Washline maintenance operations within a leading recycled PET/

polyester. Ensure high reliability, efficiency, and safety across preventive/ predictive and

corrective maintenance systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee overall maintenance activities of plants.
  • Develop systems for predictive/preventive and breakdown maintenance of

Operational Washline machinery.

  • Must be conversant with machine installation, erection, commissioning, and

commercialization.

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies that reduce downtime and

improve uptime and equipment performance.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a technical team.
  • Plan, training and performance evaluations while fostering continuous

improvement and best practices.

  • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and procurement to

maximize cost-efficiency.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth

maintenance workflow and compliance.

  • Conduct site inspections, monitor KPIs, and drive improvements through

accurate logging, dashboards, and reporting.

  • Uphold safety standards ensure SOP compliance, lockout–tagout protocols, PPE

usage, and regulatory adherence.

  • Provide technical leadership for machinery systems, including mechanical,

electrical, PLC/VFD controls, and utilities like chillers and boilers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering ( or equivalent)
  • 18–20 years in maintenance leadership roles, especially in Washline or plastics

manufacturing

  • Proven expertise with preventive maintenance, shutdown planning.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems and utility infrastructure
  • Strong leadership, budgeting, vendor management, and safety compliance skills
  • Superior analytical, communication, and team-management abilities
