About This Opportunity : Job Title : Senior DevOps Engineer. Location : Bangalore.

Job Description : At 7-Eleven, we are disruptors, makers, and innovators. Our mission is to create digital products that positively impact hundreds of thousands of people everyday. We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team.

As part of this dynamic team, you will be working alongside product managers, designers, and engineers to drive technological solutions that lead to lasting change. Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions with a primary focus on AWS and exposure on other cloud platforms.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD,GitLab, GitHub and similar.
• Apply best practices in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation/CDK.
• Expertise working on container-based environments.
• Docker, Kubernetes.
• Ensure infrastructure is highly available, reliable, and performant by automating manual tasks and processes.
• Ensure security and compliance through the integration of security tools like static/dynamic analysis, vulnerability scanning, and intrusion detection systems.
• Implement Monitoring and Alarming using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana,New Relic and the AWS stack.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to to deliver solutions at speed, optimize cloud infrastructure and drive,support innovation as a culture,enhance automations across the platform.
• Work within Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies using tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Technical Skills Required :

• 4-6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with expertise in microservices architecture, automation, configuration management tools, and designing scalable platforms for all applications.
• Expertise in AWS (primary) and exposure to other cloud platforms understanding design, implementations.
• Proficiency in scripting skills in Python, Bash or similar for automation and tool integration.
• Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working on bigdata environment and relevant setup in cloud are added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in building CI/CD pipelines Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitLab, GitHub, or similar.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC),especially Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ability to design and implement proactive monitoring, automated alerting tools like Prometheus, ELK, others with strong experience providing Root Cause Analysis.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate and Terraform Associate certifications added advantage.
• Familiarity with security services in AWS like Web Application Firewall, Guard Duty,API, firewalls, vulnerabilities, and Imperva.

Education & Experience :

• Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science or related field.
• 4 years of experience working on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, serverless, containers, and CI/CD.
• 4 years of experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible,or Chef.
• Proficient in Git and version control best practices.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to act with minimal direction.
• A team player with a start-up/entrepreneurial mindset.
