About the Role:

We are looking for a Network Monitoring Technician to join our operations team and ensure the health, availability, and performance of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will proactively monitor network devices, servers, and systems to identify and resolve issues before they impact operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network devices, servers, firewalls, routers, and switches using network monitoring tools.
  • Identify, analyze, and respond to network performance issues and alerts in real-time.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 network incidents within defined SLAs.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-tier support or vendors following escalation protocols.
  • Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Perform regular system health checks, network performance analysis, and preventive maintenance.
  • Generate daily/weekly network performance and uptime reports.
  • Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and internal teams for issue resolution and network improvements.
  • Assist in implementing changes, upgrades, and configurations under supervision.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, ITIL, or equivalent.
  • Experience in telecommunications, data centers, or managed service provider (MSP) environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) or network automation scripting (Python, PowerShell).
