Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an NPD (New Product Development) Engineer based in Chennai. The NPD Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the product development lifecycle, from concept development to production. Key tasks include conducting research, designing prototypes, testing materials, improving manufacturing processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in materials engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields
  • Experience in product design, prototyping, and manufacturing process improvement
  • Ability to conduct research and testing to ensure high-quality product development
  • Project management, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with engineering software and tools
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, materials engineering, or a related discipline
  • Understanding of industry-specific standards and regulations
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
