Position Overview:

Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking to hire Lead Software Engineer –Java Fullstack Developer for Boeing India Engineering (BIES) Software to join their team in Bengaluru, India. These positions will focus on supporting the Software Utilities organization. A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with the Architect to implement technical solution helping to enable the business unit to meet their organizational goals..

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for UI and Java/Spring backend development of Cloud based Software Application.
• Decompose Tier 3 System requirements into Tier 4 Software requirements for the identified system features. Develop automated Test scenarios to test Tier 4 Software requirements.
• Lead and Develop High level Design and software Architecture. Develop Detailed Design from High level design
• Lead and Develop UI as per detailed design and perform unit testing
• Lead and Establish traceability from Tier 3 requirements to SW code and Test.
• Perform peer review on System and Software Requirements, Design, Code and Test.
• Support SRR (Systems Requirements Review), PDR (Preliminary Design Reviews) and CDR (Critical Design Reviews).
• Support project management by providing periodic status and required metrics data.
• Be a good team player in the Agile team. Candidate should possess excellent communications skills to participate in design and code reviews, have a thorough understanding of version control and software quality attributes, such as testability, portability and maintainability, and enjoy a self-driven and collaborative development approach.
• Be dynamic and support management and leads to ensure successful product deliveries.
• Identify, communicate and mitigate the Risk, issues and Opportunities on a timely manner.

Basic Qualification:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
• Proven experience with Angular, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and responsive frameworks such as Foundation or Bootstrap.
• Strong expertise in Java (core and advanced), service-oriented architecture (SOA), Spring / Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Deep knowledge of RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid experience working with both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Practical exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
• Expertise in software build processes, integration, and debugging in simulated and integrated environments.
• Good understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
• Systems-thinking mindset — the ability to see the big picture, understand component interactions, and anticipate downstream impacts.
• Strong analytical skills: able to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data, summarize findings, and develop conclusions and actionable recommendations.

Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 12-15 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master 11-14 years' related work experience.)
