Job Title: Lead Equity Research Analyst Consumer Sector

Location: Mumbai

Department: Institutional Equities

Experience Required: years

Education: MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent in Finance, Economics, or Business

Role Overview: Seeking a seasoned equity research professional to lead coverage of the Consumer sector. The ideal candidate should have deep domain expertise, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to generate actionable investment ideas. This role involves producing high-quality research, engaging with institutional clients, and driving strategic insights across the cosnumer sector landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of listed consumer companies

Track industry trends, regulatory developments, and technological shifts

Build and maintain financial models and valuation frameworks

Publish research reports: initiations, earnings reviews, sector updates, thematic pieces

Present findings to institutional clients and internal stakeholders

Participate in investor conferences, roadshows, and management interactions

Collaborate with sales/trading teams to align research output

Ensure compliance with SEBI and internal standards

Skills & Attributes:

Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise

Excellent written and verbal communication

Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights

Established relationships in the consumer industry and with institutional investors (preferred)
