Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Equity Research Analyst, located in Mumbai. The Equity Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research and analysis of assigned sectors and companies, preparing detailed financial models, and developing investment thesis. Daily tasks include monitoring market trends, evaluating financial statements, and generating research reports. The role also involves presenting findings to portfolio managers and stakeholders, keeping abreast of industry news, and advising on potential investment opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills in financial modelling, financial statement analysis, and valuation techniques
  • Expertise in conducting market and industry research, and understanding economic indicators
  • Proficiency in using financial software and databases such as Bloomberg, Excel, and other analytical tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing and presenting research reports effectively
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; CFA or equivalent qualification is a plus
  • Prior experience in equity research, investment banking, or asset management is desirable
