MEP Draftsman

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Overview: We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented MEP Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering and preferably 2 to 3 years of experience in drafting for MEP systems..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed MEP drawings and layouts based on project specifications and engineering requirements.

  • Use AutoCAD and other design software to create accurate, clear, and detailed drawings.

  • Assist in the development of system design and layout for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure design accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and standards.

  • Review project drawings and documentation for completeness and accuracy.

  • Assist in coordination between various disciplines (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) to resolve design conflicts.

  • Maintain and update project drawings as per site changes and feedback.

  • Ensure that all drafts meet company standards and project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.

  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant work experience in MEP drafting.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting/design software.

  • Basic understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team.


•Good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of local building codes and standards is a plus.

  • Familiarity with AutoCad.
